Accepting Nominations for Board of Directors

The WVU Davis College Alumni Association Board of Directors always welcomes nominations for new Board members. Following are a few key details about the process:

• Any current member of the Davis College Alumni Association may nominate a WVU Davis College graduate or faculty member.
• The nominator must receive permission from the nominee in advance of submitting his/her name for consideration.
• Elected directors shall be elected for terms of three years or until their successors are elected.
• At least 30 days prior to the annual meeting, the nominating committee shall present to the active membership one or more nominees for the positions on the Board of Directors to be elected that year. The election shall be conducted by ballot and may be conducted by mail. Directors shall be elected by a plurality vote.
• The term of office for all directors shall begin at the close of the annual meeting.

To submit a nomination, please complete the online nomination form or send an email to President David Workman and include the name(s) of the nominee(s) and a brief bio (no more than 150 words).
